CAA Tech is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer who is a hands-on technical resource with a focus on video conferencing and conference room technology. As the UC Engineer, you will be a vital member of the Voice and AV team and will be responsible for implementation, support and maintenance of Cisco Unfied Communications, Teams Meetings, Teams Voice, and both Teams and Cisco conference room technology. The successful candidate will have in-depth understanding of Unified Communications and the technology involved in making a successful call or video conference meetin (including endpoint device and network). The ideal candidate has excellent time management, technical, and communication skills. This candidate also is end user focused and driven by customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Include
• Support Cisco Call Manager and MS Teams Voice
• Support web and video conferencing infrastructure
• Troubleshoot issues / support customers as required
• Open tickets with Cisco, Microsoft or other vendors for resolution of issues
• Stay abreast of new features and requirements for Teams
• Configure Microsoft Teams room machines
• Work with AV team to ensure conference rooms are working optimally
• Provide solution to internal resources & draft necessary documentation describing implemented designs
• Understand network and wireless environment as it relates to voice and video
• Understand endpoint requirements and capabilities for Teams clients (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android)
• Demonstrate a high level of independent judgment and initiative
• Thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude
• Communicate well and provide documentation of changes and new design suggestions, vetting with colleagues
• Willing to be flexible, and able to be on call
• Onsite in Los Angeles location at least 2 times per week. Travel to other locations required
Required Capabilities
At least five years of Unified Communications experience working with the following:
• On prem and cloud voice solutions such as Cisco Call Manager or MS Teams voice
• Utlizing a variety of web conferencing solutions such as Zoom, Blue Jeans, WebEx
• Collaboration tools such as Jabber, WebEx Teams or Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Teams and M365 Admin portal
• Experience with multiple conference room technology inclind Cisco video codecs and Microsoft Teams rooms
• Video Interop Technologies such as Cisco's WebEx Cloud Video Interop (CVI) or Pexip
• Installation and troubleshooting experience with Teams client and Microsoft Teams Rooms
• Comfortable working with Powershell and Graph API
• Understanding of basic network concepts as they relate to AV and Video conferencing
Desired Capabilities
• Experience with InTune Endpoint Manager
• Experience Azure AD
• Experience with AV of IP technologies such as Dante and NDI
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice Direct Connect and Operator Connect
