Position Summary:
The Lead Workday Integration Developer will be responsible for maintaining and configuring our companies integrations and will be a prime resource for technical expertise. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and tactical execution. This person is comfortable with hands-on responsibilities and specializes in HR Technology & Security, utilizing their strong background in Workday. They will have proven abilities to plan, organize, implement and lead specific solutions that make an impact. A successful candidate adapts quickly to a changing environment, is data driven, and technically savvy and has a passion for optimizing process and structure. The right individual leads with optimism and works to simplify, optimize, and remove bottlenecks.
Essential Functions:
Strategic Systems Planning
• Responsible for developing Workday inbound and outbound integrations; Focus will be on application integration between Workday and other HR and internal systems.
• Strong experience with Workday Integration toolset -Studio, EIB document transformation, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, PECI, Report Writer, BIRT, APIs, RaaS, Web Services, XSLT, & Rest URLs
• Workday Business Process Configuration and Configurable Security
• Support HRIS Team with configuring & developing the following Workday Sku's: HCM, Talent Management, Absence, Benefits, Learning & Development, Compensation, Time Tracking, Payroll & Help
• Participate in proof-of-concept development, demos, and post-deployment support of cross-team integration efforts
Operational Efficiency and Management
• Enhance Workday to support end-to-end processes that provide a modern and satisfying employee experience.
• Streamline data management and governance within the Workday platform.
• Identify opportunities for continuous development of Workday capabilities, aligning with routine updates and improving areas such as Learning, Compensation, HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent.
Leadership and Collaboration
• Support the execution of new HRIS initiatives and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define HRIS capabilities and embed technology-enabled processes into the regular course of business.
• Drive adoption and understanding of HRIS systems within the HR team, fostering process improvements and identifying new opportunities.
• Influence cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of Workday functionality and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business and people management goals.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in HRIS roles involving Workday systems implementation, support, and reporting.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Workday Integration toolset -Studio, EIB document transformation, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, PECI, Report Writer, BIRT, APIs, RaaS, Web Services, XSLT, & Rest URLs
• Ability to manage the Workday system in a techno-functional architect capacity
• Understanding of HR processes and technical support.
• Ability to create effective strategies to streamline processes
• Proven track record in implementing and delivering new functionality within Workday, including HR Management, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, Reporting/Analytics, and Workforce Planning.
• Demonstrated hands-on configuration and maintenance experience with Workday during implementations.
• Demonstrated success in applying quantitative and analytical capabilities.
• Quick learner with a deep understanding of organizational goals, objectives, and culture.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives, especially in ambiguous environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear and business-oriented manner.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve exceptional results.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with team members to meet deliverables and milestones.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Service-oriented approach and responsiveness to all stakeholders and internal clients.
Preferred Skills:
• BS in Computer Science or similar area of study
• Previous experience in diverse organizational environments, especially within media and entertainment, is a plus
Location?
Though based in our LA office, this role will be fully remote.
Compensation:
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $104,000 - $150,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
