The Role
The Recruiting Coordinator will report to and support two Sr. Recruiters in working with business leaders to identify outstanding candidates to work across multiple areas of business at all levels. Recruiting coordinators will take an active role in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and meetings, answering applicant and candidate inquiries, utilizing the Applicant Tracking System to enter and track candidates, handling onboarding and background check inquiries, and performing and creating decks for any special operational projects as requested. Under the direction of the Sr. Recruiters, the coordinator will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates to the Sr. Recruiters for further interviews.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for high-volume candidate management within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday)
• Facilitate and coordinate high-volume interview process online via email, phone and in-person
• Conduct preliminary phone screens, informational calls, first-round interviews, and scheduling of candidates
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate suitability and cultural fit
• Conduct background checks and reference checks for candidates while managing all onboarding tasks including, but not limited to processing candidates, new hires, and employees through Workday
• Post job descriptions on Workday and multiple job sites
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation experience
• Communicate to applicants and candidates throughout their recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process
• Manage interview steps, messages, and communication between hiring managers
• Partner with Sr. Recruiters to maintain a robust pipeline of current and active candidates
• In conjunction with the Recruiting team, assist in the execution of recruiting strategies
• Streamline the Referral Program with Sr. Recruiters
• Maintain and execute hiring metrics and goals
• Assist the Recruiting team with key initiatives, ad hoc projects, and other tasks
Qualifications
• 1 or more years of experience as a HR Assistant, Recruiting/HR Coordinator, or other Talent Acquisition support roles
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or Workday a plus
• Adept at quickly learn new processes and technology
• Ability to multitask and have strong organization and prioritization skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Extremely flexible, proactive, able to easily shift priorities, and handle heavy workflow processing
• Ability to succeed in a fast paced, high volume, corporate environment
• Operate with team mentality and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to interface across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated desire to learn
• Demonstrated passion for working in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion space a plus
• Long-term interest in building a career in Recruitment a plus
Location
This role will be based out of the Los Angeles office; Hybrid (3-4 days in office) with Fridays remote.
Compensation: The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $23.00-26.52. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
