This is a Full Time Job
seeking a self-motivated FP&A Analyst based in London on a permanent basis, to provide critical financial insight, drive continuous process improvement, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial decision-making. Reporting directly to the FP&A Director, this role involves supporting scheduled finance activities such as month-end close, budget and forecast cycles, and engaging in ad-hoc initiatives including report and dashboard building, client profitability analysis, and strategic financial projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at translating complex financial data into actionable insights to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
Responsibilities
include but not limited to:
• Prepare detailed month-end finance packs incorporating P&Ls (including variance analysis), KPI reporting, and financial dashboards for review with FP&A Director.
• Support FP&A Director in budgeting and quarterly reforecast process; review and challenge assumptions used by commercial and finance teams and consolidate respective business unit budgets into a group budget.
• Track and communicate new business pipeline to commercial leadership team, updating high-level forecasts based on latest status of new deals.
• Manage the credit control reporting process by ensuring that regional Commercial Finance teams provide detailed actionable commentary about outstanding invoices for bi-weekly reports to Finance Director and FP&A Director.
• Develop relevant and clear dashboards for internal and external users to track performance, improve information flow and drive business performance.
• Gaining familiarity with finance systems through managing licensees and overseeing the end-to-end royalty, invoicing and collection cycles.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives within wider CAA finance and Brand Management teams including systems integration and automation.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in relevant financial analysis/modelling roles.
• Ideally will have knowledge of consumer product licensing.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions and business outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required; knowledge and / or willingness to learn Microsoft D365, Power BI, BrandComply and other financial tools preferred.
• Proactive with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
