Football - Creative Apprentice (Part-time Temporary)
The Role
The Football Division within CAA Sports is seeking a talented and highly motivated creative to join the team. This role supports the CAA Football resources and clients, creating dynamic visuals & working with the team to execute a digital strategy for social media while producing dynamic visuals for the brand and clients.
In this role you will refine your existing skills along with developing new ones to make an immediate impact across all CAA Football platforms outward facing along with recruiting as the primary focus. This is a temporary, hourly (part-time), remote role that will occasionally require late nights & weekend flexibility depending on NFL schedule.
*Please note, this role is temporary and will conclude in February 2024. This role is also part-time (~20 hrs/wk).
Responsibilities
• Assist in copywriting needs including short form captions on social media
• Work with the creative team to develop digital and social strategies including campaigns & partnerships across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and more
• Create and publish social media content and engage with audience
• Support social media growth initiatives
• Practices effective communication with internal and external partners (ie: Slack, email, text, phone, video conferencing)
• Meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to brand style while continuing to evolve the visual style on social and other materials
• Source images, videos and content opportunities for the creative team
• Research and monitor activity of competitors & engage in industry conversation to identify best practices
• Demonstrates understanding in layout, typography and visual hierarchy
• Executes consistent designs aligned with existing style and process
• Assist in preparing presentation decks & and materials client facing meetings
• Work collaboratively across the creative team on various initiatives
Qualifications
• Strong design portfolio highlighting layout and typography
• Cares deeply about the quality of their work with a desire for improvement
• Understanding of content life cycle & content distribution across platforms
• Working knowledge of Adobe's Creative Suite (ie: AI, ID, LR, PS)
• Ability to apply design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale visual presentation development and layout
• Ability to take creative direction and work independently and proactively
• Interested and motivated to learn and grow
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely attentive to detail and a self-starter
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
• Working knowledge of the digital landscape in media, design and technology
• Understanding of contemporary design, internet and youth culture trends
• A knowledge and love of sports and culture
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Adobe Spark a plus
• Experience in working with After Effects is a plus
• Video editing skills a plus

Compensation
• The base hourly rate for this position is $15.00. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria. Please talk with a CAA Recruiter to learn more.
