This is a Full Time Job
This is a coordinator department within the Washington D.C. office .? This role is responsible for overseeing the office environment, organizing office operations and procedures, managing reception, assisting agents and executives with day-to-day office needs.
Responsibilities
• Answer all incoming phone calls and transfer to the appropriate department/staff member. Email messages when appropriate?
• Greet visitors and visiting employees promptly and ensure guests are comfortable and are connected with the appropriate colleague
• Manage schedules for conference rooms and community spaces, if applicable
• Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail?
• Assist with clerical projects as assigned?
• Order office supplies and maintain office organization?
• Order kitchen supplies including food
• Help Facilities Lead with coordinating space for new hires and office moves
• Provide office communications
• Coordinate conference room meetings and manage scheduling / set-up for meetings
• Keeping office impeccably clean, tidy and organized
• Act as point person for building related concerns which includes , but not limited to scheduling repairs and equipment maintenance – escalate issues, as needed, to building management?
• Act as liaison between building management and staff members
• File, organize records, invoices and other important documentation
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business Administration preferred
• 1+ years of work experience in a professional office environment
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.? Expert level with Windows/PCs. Knowledge and experience with multi-line office phones.
• General administration expertise
• Accomplished ability to multi-task and follow through on assignments
• Impeccable attention to detail, excellent organizational, planning, prioritizing and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues at every level
Location
This role is based out of the Washington D.C. office.
Compensation: The base hourly rate for this position is $23.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
