Coordinator, Music Touring (Latin Music)
Job Description
Responsibilities
• Process incoming offers; issue, review, and track contracts; obtain current ticket counts and accurately update spreadsheets; clear radiuses; obtain avails and holds from venues; update itineraries; settle shows in CAA's system
• Independently book and route tours with minimal agent supervision
• Serve as point of contact for clients, agents/executives, and other industry connections
• Mentor junior staff
• Other various projects and tasks as needed
• Maintain working knowledge of the music industry and best practices
Qualifications
• 3+ years providing administrative support to a music touring agent
• You are fluent in Spanish and English and can instruct in both languages
• Able to maintain organization and composure while anticipating needs in a high pressure situations with rapidly changing priorities
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Deep understanding of the importance of maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
• Service oriented with a strong desire to pitch in to help team members
• Excellent judgment with respect to representing CAA to buyers, business world, etc.
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
