The Role
Join CAA's Global Infrastructure Operations team during an exciting phase of international expansion and cloud modernization. We are looking for a versatile Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong Azure expertise and a solid background in Kubernetes administration, automation, and hybrid infrastructure. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on site in our Nashville office.
This role offers the opportunity to shape scalable, resilient systems that support a dynamic global enterprise. You'll work across on-prem and cloud platforms, improve deployment processes, and contribute to building a world-class operational environment.
Responsibilities:
• Help define and implement CAA's hybrid infrastructure strategy, with a strong focus on Azure services and Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Administer, support, and optimize a combination of public cloud (Azure/AWS) infrastructure and on-prem VMware environments.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS and/or self-managed clusters), ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation efforts using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools to streamline deployments and reduce manual effort.
• Enhance observability through tools such as LogicMonitor , Azure Monitor, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Support day-to-day infrastructure operations, proactively resolving issues and participating in a shared on-call rotation.
• Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure processes, deployment pipelines, and system reliability.
Qualifications and Experience:
• 3+ years of experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments, with a strong emphasis on Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS).
• 8+ years of total IT experience spanning systems, virtualization, networking, and cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in a production setting (intermediate level), including workload deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting. CNCF certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in VMware administration and virtualization lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of Cisco networking fundamentals (routing, switching, security); CCNP-level capabilities a plus.
• Experience with storage configuration (SAN/NAS) and backup infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in a 24x7x365 operations environment, including on-call support.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach .

Location: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site in our Nashville, TN, office.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $114,000 - $155,000 in Los Angeles . This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
