Brand Consulting - Senior Account Manager - Social Impact

The Role

The CAA Brand Consulting Senior Account Manager will play a key role on the Social Impact team focused on providing advisory services to our portfolio of brand clients. The CAA Social Impact team services entities that wish to establish or improve their social impact, which includes work to help clients strategize on broader approaches to business and brand purpose. We advise clients in this area through a process of discovering their social purpose and understanding how and where they want to affect change. CAA then designs a comprehensive strategy to shift principles into action. This position will support the teams' priorities servicing clients ranging from client service, strategy development/execution, and creative team management. This position will be responsible for leading strategic development efforts, developing robust insights and strategies that translate into impactful outcomes that deliver against clients brand and business objectives.

The Department

CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. These integrated capabilities come together to offer solutions from planning through execution, and we pull in a collective perspective of expertise with each client brief to ensure we are tapping into diverse thinking and building strategies reflective of the marketplace and culture we work within.

Responsibilities
• Act as a principal impact strategist on client business
• Research, develop, recommend, and execute creative strategies to further client's impact commitments
• Interact directly with C-Suite level clients to manage expectations and meet deadlines
• Travel to various cities to work with clients supporting new and existing business
• Prepare and lead client pitch decks, proposals and presentation materials for new business opportunities
• Work across the agency to activate client projects and find new opportunities
• Help grow the Social Impact team's network and visibility by attending conferences, industry events, and client functions
• Demonstrate strategic thinking by supporting the output of perspective pieces and participating in thought leadership opportunities
• Work with account teams to develop client briefings with best practices, campaign deliverables, go to market strategies
• Liaise with other key internal departments (i.e., analytics, creative services, experiential) to support group-wide projects

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• 7+ years designing, activating and delivering purpose driven strategies and long-term brand building campaigns
• Expert understanding of the social impact landscape and mainstream social/cultural events
• Skilled in secondary research with the ability to gather data and synthesize insights across brand categories and the entertainment industry
• Best-in-class client servicing and relationship building
• Strong interpersonal skills to build interagency relationships and reputation with clients, partners, and colleagues
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience providing strategic thinking to clients, including identifying, analyzing, problem solving, and responding to opportunities and challenges with the ability to translate into practical plans of action
• Able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, manage deadlines, and coordinate key timelines with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience in project management with strong attention to detail
• Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and confident with ambiguity while course correcting based on evolving decisions and circumstances
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Not afraid to ''pitch in'', ''roll up your sleeves'' and get it done. You take initiative. No task is too big or too small
• Proficiency in PowerPoint

Location

Based out of the Los Angeles or New York offices, this role is onsite/in office Tuesday thru Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $95,000-$120,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
