How do I hire an Assistant To Compliance Executive? Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant for our Corporate Compliance Executive in the Office of the General Counsel. The position leads the office for a highly busy executive and is comfortable working with individuals in a variety of roles both within and outside of the agency.
Responsibilities
• Handle high-volume scheduling and rolling calls for executive
• Prepare daily To-Do Lists for executive in addition to handling the follow up, file and resolve items can be handled directly by the assistant
• Provide research and documentation on current federal and state regulatory matters
• Understand the workflow relationships of both the compliance office and the agency at large
• Liaise with multiple external auditors and regulators, and internal departments
• Work with Finance & Accounting, HR, and IT on all compliance and regulatory mandates
• Keep abreast with all local, state, Federal and Global laws and regulatory changes that relate to the company and entertainment industry at large
• Heavy documentation of controls and processes
• Draft and review policies, and other legal documents as needed
• Coordinate travel itineraries and submit monthly expense reports
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; JD or previous paralegal equivalent experience preferred
• 1 or more year of administrative experience preferred
• Excellent research and documentation skills
• Basic understanding of compliance and legal mandates
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a publicly traded company
