Assistant To Basketball Talent Sales Agent

The New York office is seeking an Assistant to join their Sports Talent Marketing team. This team creates opportunities for coaches and players within sports media. In this role, you will initially be responsible for providing administrative support to a Sports Marketing Agent focused on Basketball clients. Assistants are an important part of the CAA structure, and it is hoped that the successful candidate will ultimately become an Agent within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support, including heavy phones, coordinating meetings, schedules and travel, and preparing expense reports
• Assist with special projects, research, and compiling daily updates
• Serve as point of contact with clients, executives, brands and teams
• Provide logistical support for client events, meetings, shoots and appearances in order to deliver best in class service
• Stay up to date on the Basketball industry and best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College preferred
• At least 1 year of administrative experience, prior experience working with sports talent is a plus
• Ability to create marketing decks and materials
• Complex understanding of Basketball, current sports industry, and the nature of a talent agency
• Professional, motivated, quick-thinking and outgoing
• Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
• Team orientated and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
