Job Description
The Role
We are looking for an Assistant to join CAA's Commercial Endorsements department in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, and have a passion for entertainment, media, marketing, and brands with the aim to continue learning more about the many aspects of the representation business. Duties include heavy phones, coordinating meetings and schedules, preparing expense reports, reviewing contracts, communicating with a variety of talent, clients, and industry professionals. The Department
CAA's Commercial Endorsements department creates global opportunities for the world's leading talent within the commercial space which includes: TV commercials, print ads, digital campaigns, social media campaigns, voiceover, and other initiatives that connect our clients with brands.
Responsibilities
Administrative duties including handling heavy phones, calendar management, scheduling travel, booking reports, preparing expense reports, monitoring financial payments, and general office management tasks. Serve as first point of contact with clients and executives. Track clients and potential clients. Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed.
Qualifications
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred.
• 10 months + of professional working experience in an administrative or project management capacity.
• Ability to anticipate needs and execute time-sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
• Ability to be flexible with work hours.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; written and verbal.
• Attention to detail, follow-up, and strong organizational skills are a requirement.
• Strong interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality is a must.
• Must be solutions oriented.
• Must be able to thrive in team-oriented and autonomous working environments.
• Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
