AP Vendor Management Supervisor

The Role
The AP Vendor Management Professional will assist in onboarding new vendors, maintain an accurate vendor master list, ensure proper 1099 classifications are applied to vendors, review the work of the VM Associate, verbally confirm all new banking details, communicate any delays with vendor onboarding, and escalate urgent payments to the AP Manager for tracking purposes.
Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with CAA's vendor onboarding
• Communicate requirements to the business as needed
• Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Assist with 1099 processing and classification throughout the year
• Prepare and maintain relevant data and excel reports (Aging reports, vendor reports, etc.)
• Assist with key initiatives and implementations to streamline all AP functions
• Manage the AP ERP workflow for vendor approvers
• Review the work of the AP VM Associate and activate vendor records after all requirements have been met
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting functions
• 3+ years of experience managing others
Location
This role will be hybrid based out of the Los Angeles office, with a minimum on site requirement of three days.
Compensation:
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $80,000 - $99,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
