We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Account Director to join our award-winning global Brand Consulting team and support a key client across their global partnership portfolio. We are seeking a senior marketing consultant with experience developing and delivering activation strategies for brands in sport, entertainment and culture. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their understanding and capabilities leading and managing 360 sponsorship campaigns across a range of disciplines including rights management, experiential, digital, content and communications.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting and dynamic role working as part of an international account team for one of Brand Consulting's newest clients. The client is an established, global brand with a broad portfolio of sponsorship investments across a range of sports and markets.
Working alongside a Vice President, the Account Director will need to draw upon their knowledge and experience working in sports marketing, to help advise and guide the client in utilizing and optimizing its contractual rights and assets to deliver results with impact.
We are looking for a strategically-minded account leader with experience in managing a team across multiple partnerships and regions. Someone that can not only demonstrate the requisite organizational skills and attention to detail to manage an account, but also the passion and confidence to bring fresh and innovative thinking to help our client achieve its commercial and brand objectives.
As the CAA Brand Consulting business continues to grow, the individual will also have the opportunity to work on additional projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Alongside the Vice President, be a trusted advisor and senior partner for our client.
• Assist Vice President in developing actionable strategies that maximize partnership rights and assets and aligns with brand and business objectives.
• Lead the day-to-day operations, account team, client reporting and budgeting.
• Build strong relationships with senior clients, rights holders and suppliers from the word 'go'.
• Support development of campaign creative, positioning and channel strategy based on audience insights.
• Project manage campaign activations from ideation to execution across owned, earned, shared and paid digital channels.
• Event management and logistics including talent appearances, internal engagement and VIP customer experiences.
• Liaise with rights holder to track, schedule and manage partnership rights and assets.
• Be accountable to client KPIs and measure campaign effectiveness to demonstrate ROI.
• Act as a consultant, advising and guiding the client on best practice and processes to drive the sponsorship to new heights.
• Monitor the latest trends in sport, technology and Web3.
• Attend networking events and support with business development when required.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Must have significant agency or in-house experience at a client/campaign lead level.
• Demonstrable exposure to strategic decision making, campaign planning, communications, asset development and amplification, and event management is vital.
• Experience in digital and social media marketing, including developing and implementing global digital campaigns.
• A keen interest/experience in sports/Football/Basketball is a must.
