C7 Film Productions seek a Director of Photography for a close collaboration with the writer/director of the feature length documentary, ''Endure.''

This is a paid position.

Endure is a documentary that tells the story of several athletes who have all suffered from a spinal injury. The level of their paralysis, immobility and the fullness of their recovery vary. Yet, they have several things in common: they survived a life threatening traumatic event, they endured through a long painful recovery, and now they participate in endurance events that test the limits of their physical abilities.

Endure is more than a recovery story.

Endure is more than a sports documentary.

This documentary seeks to tell the story of what it takes to recover from such a traumatic life-altering event. But more importantly, it seeks to understand why these people took it further. What drives our subjects to test exactly how far their bodies and their mobility can go? Why do they now choose to endure such physically demanding races and events? What do they get out of it?

Many athletes, who have never suffered a spinal injury, have likened an endurance race to life.

Life is the ultimate endurance race.

For someone who has experienced paralysis, this is far more poignant and profound.

There is something for each of us to learn from these remarkable athletes, these inspired human beings.
