Full Time Job
The Role
BuzzFeed Video is looking for a video producer and people manager to join our video organization in Los Angeles, CA. You will support BuzzFeed across platforms and brands and serve as a client facing team lead.
You will collaborate with a Supervising Producer to produce videos and pitches with their pod of producers. You will also send pitches and follow through on publishing commitments to clients like NBCUniversal
You Will
• Oversee two small pods that are producing 3-6 videos a week, but may expand
• Implement feedback from the Supervising Producer and client partners
• Provide notes on videos via Frame.io promptly
• Quickly iterate off of successful/trending content
• Partner with the Publishing Team to grow channels
• Collaborate with producers to brainstorm, pitch and produce both assigned and original videos
You Have
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and entire CC suite
• Comfortable knowledge of most video codecs and formats
• Ability to manage multiple projects throughout stages of production
• Extremely knowledgeable about at least one social platform such as: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat
• Passion for the internet and creating digital video content
• Great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
• Meticulous, technical, organized, and creative at the same time
• Ability to work independently and under close direction
• Experienced in a deadline-driven environment and internet video
• Experience behind a camera and knowledge of lighting and sound
