Publicity Intern:
Arranging sufficient press coverage for company through submissions, media alerts and direct contact with journalists, news reporters, and staff of media agencies. Apart from such coverage, the Publicity Intern often maintains the communication within the department.
Act as an assistant for Director of Public Relations. Light Office duties such as inputting data, checking, main submission email for new messages and follow-ups and setting appointments for the publicity department.
Communicating with project coordinators and/or clients and commencing rolling calls for Director of Publicity.
- Ex. Red Carpet Events, Charity Events, Networking Events, Award Shows, Product Launches, etc.
- Manage clients that are signed under the management portion of the company
- Following Up w/ clients on information such as details of deals, updates of possible deals, etc.
- Oversee plans of action after proper training for integrated marketing plans and connector services.
Salary: This is not a paid internship, but we believe in production based compensation. When reimbursements are available they will be given on a per job basis and approved by the Director of Publicity. Room for growth allows intern to move within the company to the position of Jr. Publicist w/ training.
