SUMMARY OF POSITION
Burbank TV Enterprises Inc. seeks a Photo Intern for the Worldwide TV Marketing – Publicity & Talent Relations department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers the approval process for all new artwork required by talent contracts, which involves securing the approval for talent, producers, and publicists.
Responsible for the distribution of media alert to all red carpet photographers. Oversee check-in and provide information and guidelines to photographers for publicity special events.
Assist with edit and selection of quality photo images that represent each show for media requests.
Coordinate shooting schedules with multiple departments (including networks) in planning, hiring and overseeing episodic photographers.
Edit, review and help route all episodic artwork ensuring timely delivery dates and tracking progress for each project.
Review, maintain and apprise appropriate individuals on current series episodic scripts, shooting schedules, etc.
Work with various departments to edit and select quality artwork as requested. Coordinates and traffics all photographs for division publicity campaigns and serve as liaison between division heads, publicists, networks and media outlets.
Serves as publicity coordinator which involves coordinating ad requests, publicity requests, (interviews, tracking awards and charity requests, coordinating high profile guests).
Work with departments in creating, implementing and managing gallery sessions for each of the WB Television series/pilots/MOWs.
Maintain existing library of original artwork and other material.
Administer the billing process, invoices and timecards for photographers and various vendors.
Assist the Director of Photo Services in managing and developing new campaigns, programs, solutions in efficiency, organization and quality of departmental functions and procedures.
Work extensively with the Central Image Archive (CIA) and digital photography to store and select images.
Liaison for network and departments with internal groups.
Answers telephones, screens, logs, and handles general publicity calls as well as specific calls as directed.
Prepares documents such as reports, correspondence, expense reports, and check requests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Actively enrolled student pursuing a degree.
Exposure in Publicity preferred.
Typing: 50 wpm.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word required and Q & A helpful.
Knowledge of report and letter format.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator software programs
Must have good grammatical skills.
Must be able to prioritized tasks.
Must be able to prepare logs, reports and such.
Must be able to pay close attention to detail and follow through.
Must be well-organized and proof read all incoming and outgoing work.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to set-up and maintain accurate, up-to-date files and records.
Must be able to handle confidential information.
Must be able to work under constant deadlines.
Must be able to work set hours.
Must be willing to work as a team and be available to all in department.
Must be able to work at a face pace with accuracy.
