Web Design Intern - Summer 2012

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing is seeking a Web Design Intern to join the Digital Media department for the Summer of 2012. The intern will work closely with the Creative Director, Senior designers and designers in a team environment. Candidates will need to present and discuss a portfolio of their work to-date. Knowledge of digital media design best practices and understanding of digital media technology is preferred. Self motivated and great communication skills also preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Production art task such as color correction, photo cropping, image manipulation/composition, image optimization for digital media platforms, vector drawing manipulation, typography and style guide implementation.

Understanding of digital media design best practices to optimize and uphold design quality of project.

Work with HTML/CSS to build web pages, e-newsletter blast and manipulate Social Media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Organize and maintain design file structure and naming conventions within design file server and local machine.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active enrolled student with an accredited college or university for college class credit.

No work experience required as this is an intern position.

Good understanding of digital media, social networking platforms and a passion for design.
