General Office Duties and Image and Layout Design for Project Pitches.
This is a TEMP Position from 6/17 to 7/4 with the option to become permanent.
Established commercial production company with Oscar-winning and high profile directors, seeking a recent film or arts school graduate (within 3 or 4 years), energetic, detail oriented and responsible person interested in learning the ins and outs of the commercial production industry. This is a great opportunity to work closely with an experienced Executive Producer with many years in the business. Our office is located in Venice near Abbot Kinney Blvd.
Duties will include:
MOST IMPORTANTLY, IMAGE RESEARCH AND PROJECT LAYOUTS USING IN-DESIGN
Office management & organization.
Supporting Executive Producers and Head of Production.
Assisting with visual research and layout design.
Updating Social Media.
Working with directors to meet their needs relating to work completed with company.
Assisting executive producers with other miscellaneous duties.
Upload to Wiredrive.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to effortlessly multi-task and prioritize workload.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to work under deadlines and maintain quality and accuracy of work.
Knowledge of In-Design, Excel, Word, and Photoshop.
Familiarity with HTML and Final Cut Pro.
Computer work station provided, however your own Mac laptop a plus.
College degree required - film school degree preferred.
Must be able to show examples of VISUAL LAYOUTS done on IN DESIGN, this is a REQUIREMENT.
Must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a TEMP Position from 6/17 to 7/4, with the option to become permanent. Hours are typically 9-6pm, sometimes later when in production. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Overtime paid for additional hours. Compensation $12/hour.
