Video Editor

This is a Full Time Job

Buchwald is looking to hire a creative, entry level Video Editor in the Los Angeles office. This position will work independently on a project such as sizzle reels, concept videos, casting sessions, etc. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months editing experience, be highly organized, ambitious, detail oriented and computer savvy.

Responsibilities:
• Screen record client footage from various films and television shows
• Edit client reels and scenes
• Edit client self-tape auditions
• Read (remotely) with clients for self-tape auditions
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:
• 6 months editing experience required
• Knowledge of OBS Studio and Movavi preferred
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong digital asset management skills
• Experience with codecs, video formats, image types, resolutions frame rates as they pertain to digital media trends
• Must be meticulous, technical, organized and creative simultaneously
• Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
• Impeccable attention to detail and high level of organization
• Must be able to handle a heavy volume
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Great people skills and must be flexible enough to work with different personalities
• Pro-active and responsible
• Must be meticulous, technical, organized and creative simultaneously.
