ABOUT THE POSITION:
Buchwald is seeking an eager & motivated Assistant to join our Literary Department. This opportunity is currently available in-person, in our Los Angeles office.
This is an entry-level position that requires initiative while learning on the job. Interest in becoming a literary agent is essential.
This position will work closely with our Head of Literary to support talent outreach, communication, and development of the Literary Department. Candidates need to be organized, ambitious, detail-oriented and computer savvy, and have strong administrative skills. Must be able to multi-task, handle a heavy volume of calls and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College is preferred.
• Experience within a talent agency or management company highly preferred.
• Entertainment and agency internship experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of InEntertainment, and Airtable is a plus but not required.
• Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams and OneDrive), Zoom, and DocuSign.
• Desire to grow within the agency.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong networking and communication skills, with exceptional phone etiquette.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
• Collaborative team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Salary/Benefits
$21.00 - $22.00 /hour USD
Wages may vary based upon relevant experience and other criteria
