Summer Intern - Music PR

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

BT PR, seeks a highly-organized and proactive intern for Summer 2023, who is interested in learning all aspects of Public Relations. The candidate must be poised, confident, and resourceful, with the ability to multitask and follow through on all responsibilities. It is essential that the candidate to this position have strong analytical thinking and communication skills, demonstrate creativity and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details. A passion for the music and entertainment industry is required.

Please note that this internship will be virtual. There is a preference for East Coast-based candidates and one year of relevant internship experience. Photoshop experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Monitor all forms of media
Compile contact lists
Monitor daily press links
Update database and press reports
Manage special projects with excellent follow through
Assist with social media, website, etc.

Internship Start Date/Season: Summer 2023
Internship Duration: 4 months
Time/Days Required: At least 3 days a week M-F from 10a-5p ET
Workplace Requirements: Complete a minimum of 20 hours a week and must receive academic credit.
