Part Time Paid Internship
Brownstein PR a division of PRStudio USA is a top-tier entertainment and advocacy PR firm. We represent clients in the LBGTQ space, the Latinx Space, as well as the film, television,, movie space. Our firm has a bespoke list of highly respected actors, producers, directors, and filmmakers and we specialize in very niche campaigns that help clients raise their image and profile in both our industry and the world's stage. The founder has over 30 years of experience and is excited to work with a new crop of hopefuls to learn the ins and outs of public relations and strategic communications. Our clients are in Vogue, GQ, Esquire, The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Times, Kelly and Ryan, Stephen Colbert and many other outlets. You will be assisting with those campaigns to secure those outlets as well as helping us prep for campaigns via strategic involvement on all levels.
The ONLY requirements we have is that: the student have a Public Relations or Communiations Major or Minor, or have taken at least one PR course so far in school, have WORKING PROFICIENCY of Cision, to create and create media lists for campaigns, be a creative writer with terrific grammar and spelling, and be able to also support with SOCIAL MEDIA and Press Clips.
This position is REMOTE. Our offices are in LOS ANGELES and we work WEST COAST hours. Our candidate will be willing and able to work west coast hours and be able to provide 25 - 30 hours a week.
In exchange for these technical proficiencies, you will have a front row seat and active participation in press releases, pitching, creating brand books, writing and collaborating on strategy and learning how the business works during the busiest time of the year for many Publicists. (Awards campaigning starts in now, and we are already in the thick of it!)
This position pays $15 an hour, we will work around your school schedule if you are in college, however you must be able to commit to work West Coast hours and that can be discussed in the interview.
