Position: Winter Management Intern AT BROADWAY INTERNATIONAL GROUP LLC and BROADWAY ASIA COMPANY LLC
JOB DETAILS:
Broadway International Group (BIG) and Broadway Asia Company (BAC), two of the pre-eminent international producing, general management and licensing firms, is in a period of expansion. We are currently seeking experienced, energetic, intelligent, and motivated Management Interns for the Winter Season.
Current and upcoming projects include: the International Tour of The Sound of Music directed by Jack O'Brien, the premiere opening of Journey - a unique and immersive dining experience, The Marilyn Monroe Hollywood Experience, as well as up and coming international tour of the Olivier-nominated musical Amelie, and other productions and tours of Tony-nominated and Award winning Broadway musicals and immersive entertainment.
Broadway Asia Company is one of the largest licensing and touring companies in the world marketplace for live entertainment, representing over 100 titles including the Rodgers & Hammerstein Theater Library for Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Argentina and Brazil, as well as territories in Europe and the Middle East.
Successful applicants will be organized, self-motivated, possess excellent communication and writing skills, and be computer literate. The intern will work closely with a team of successful General Managers and Executive Producers, gaining valuable producing and general management skills and making vital contributions.
Interns must commit to a full-time (M-F,10a-6p) four-month internship starting mid-November. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google office applications is a must. Any editing/social media experience is a plus. There is a travel stipend of $100/week. Internship extensions and employment opportunities may be available upon completion of a successful four-month internship.
