POSITION:
Assistant, Comedy Department, Brillstein Entertainment Partners
Location: New York, NY
Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Thursday in-person, Fridays in-person is optional
JOB SUMMARY:
NYC office of storied talent management firm seeking a dynamic executive assistant for two managers in the comedy department.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL DO:
• Handle all logistics for internal and external meetings
• Manage calendars, promo itineraries, and travel for both comedy managers and clients
• Track deliverables for all department projects
• Independently carry-out multiple tasks from start-to-finish with the aptitude to
anticipate, prioritize and create effective systems
• Post, edit, create, and upload content to certain artist social media
• Provide coverage on client projects and comedy landscape
• Stay up to date on casting opportunities and submit clients through Breakdown Express
• Advancing client live performances with venues
• Prepare accurate, high-quality presentation materials as needed
• Coordinate accounts payable with finance department
• Compile and submit expense reports
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL NEED:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of executive assistant experience within the entertainment
industry
• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong interest in comedy, touring, television, film, podcasts and overall entertainment
business
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Fluency in business and creative software (including but not limited to Zoom, iMessage,
WhatsApp, Microsoft Outlook & Office, Google Drive/Apps, Box, ChatGPT, WordPress,
Adobe Suite, Canva, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, CRMs)
• Solid work ethic and team player mentality; highly accountable, self-motivated, proactive,
responsive and resilient
• Ability to maintain confidentiality surrounding Brillstein & Wasserman's business and its
clients
