Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Writer/Copy Editor to proofread and copy edit Breakdowns for film/tv/theatre/commercial projects. You will liaise with Casting to refine the content of their Breakdown prior to publication.
Team members learn all aspects of our services in order to provide exceptional service to our clients. The right candidate enjoys a variety of tasks and responsibilities and is eager to learn new skills.
All team members are currently working remotely until it is safe to return to the office. We are seeking to add team members who reside in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto or Vancouver, BC.

Your responsibilities
Proofread, write and copy edit
Liaison with Casting regarding their projects
Gain a comprehensive understanding of how we support Talent Representatives, Casting Directors, Actors and Filmmakers.
Participate in educational seminars
Capable of providing technical support and assistance.
Work with our other offices to provide a cohesive customer support experience
Required
Excellent writing skills and thoroughly enjoy writing
Exceptional grammar, reading, writing, and communication skills
MS Word proficiency
Broad experience with both Windows and MAC OS
Experience with Word, Google Docs, Slack
Familiarity with Webex, Chatlio, Freshdesk, Zendesk or similar
Detail oriented and take great pride in attention to detail
Professional with customers and coworkers
Reliable, responsible, conscientious and trustworthy
Work calmly, precisely and efficiently during high stress/busy times
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately

Technical background (graphic design, Adobe Creative Cloud, IT, photo/video editing etc) are a plus
