Brave New Films/Foundation Seeks Editor

Brave New Films/Foundation: producers of Walmart: The High Cost of Low Price, Outfoxed, Rethink Afghanistan and pioneers in new media video campaigns is looking for a full-time Editor.

•Must be fluent in FCP 6 (FCP 7 a plus).
•Able to cut creatively and work collaboratively.
•Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.
•Must have great technical skill (able to be one’s own AE).
•Fluent in Spanish is highly preferred.
•Expected to meet tight deadlines.
•Should be graceful under pressure, deadlines frequently change.
•Should have a strong grasp on and sympathy towards progressive issues.
•Should have moderate knowledge of Brave New Films’ work.
•Familiarity with Pilotware, a plus.
•Motion graphics, graphic design, sound mixing/finishing, coloring are also great pluses.

Would love to give this opportunity to someone that has been an Assistant Editor for a while who is looking to step up and be an editor but capable of doing AE work.

Position to start January 2010. This is a full time staff position in Culver City.
