PR Intern WINTER/SPRING 2012
BrandLink Communications is a full-service media relations, marketing and special events agency that focuses on the luxury, consumer goods, fashion, beauty, hospitality, and entertainment industries with offices located in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Washington D.C. and Chicago.
BrandLink Communications is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic interns for WINTER/SPRING 2012 in our Los Angeles office. Typical intern duties consist of organizing and maintaining the showroom, sample trafficking, updating and maintaining credits, mailings, giftings, coordinating media relations for events and hospitality clients, and assisting with all the day-to-day workings of the office. Interns are expected to work hard and take the position seriously. Interviews will begin on November 28, 2011.
General Qualifications:
Must be highly detail-oriented, ambitious, organized, resourceful and have excellent communication skills. Interns must be able to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in addition to possessing an interest in fashion, lifestyle, hospitality and events. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and social media strongly preferred.
Interns are needed to start in January and must be able to work at least 2-3 days/week for a minimum of 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in the public relations field. The internship is unpaid but school credit is available upon request.
