DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox Florida Operations Team is dedicated to providing a world class environment while serving Baseball Player Development and the community of Southwest Florida. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox are looking for an individual who will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of selling and servicing Group Sale Accounts during Spring Training. This role will primarily focus on selling from October-December and then transition into a service role January-March. This includes traditional group buyers as well as Spring Training Theme Games, assisting with the execution of gate giveaways and servicing groups pre and post-game.
Start: September 29th, 2025 | End: April 2026
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop new leads through cold calling, networking events, utilization of CRM tools, social selling, and referrals from current customers.
• Responsible for prospecting and researching leads as it relates to Red Sox promotional theme days.
• Minimum of 75 sales activities per day.
• Provides excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and at games.
• Help plan Season Ticket Holder Events that occur at JetBlue Park.
• Coordinate logistics with Red Sox security and Ballpark Operations to ensure seamless group experiences.
• Manage scoreboard messaging, pre-game field ceremonies and post-game photo opportunities as it relates to group buyers.
• Oversee the execution of groups and hospitality spaces pre-game including the Fenway South Party Tent.
• Distribute daily game-day emails to full-time staff outlining group activities and on-site representatives.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of STEM Days, coordinating with schools and vendors before, during, and after each event.
• Communicate with group leaders prior to events to share logistics and coordinate any special requests.
• Conduct post-event follow-ups with group leaders to thank them and gather feedback on their experience.
• Represent the Boston Red Sox in a positive and professional manner at all times.
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong level of passion and commitment to providing a high standard of customer service.
• Preferred work experience within fast-paced, high energy and frequently changing work environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding and use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Canva.
• Experience in Fevo, ProVenue and Salesforce preferred.
• Prior tour guide experience preferred.
• Self-motivated team player able to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• College Credit available, if needed for graduation, but not a requirement.
• Eligibility begins in junior year or later.
