Tax Credit Specialist

This is a Full Time Job

Position: Tax Credit Specialist, responsible for leading in the review, analysis, and organization of the audit/state submission & preparation side of the film and television incentive process, reporting to the CEO and the VP of Finance.

Principal Responsibilities:
Review state tax credit documentation (certificates, grants, etc.)
Review commercial production 'wrap binders' for completeness
Analyze documents & data received for completeness and accuracy
Convert binder documents into electronic workbooks by entry into Excel
Maintain and update electronic workbooks as additional data is received
Scan and save documents as directed
Communicate project data entry status, file status, and missing files or data
Combine & organize electronic files as directed for final submission
Generate various summary reports on the productions under review
Entry of activity and project tracking into BondIt CRM system
Perform other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications and Experience:
3 years of previous experiences analyzing film and television tax credits
3 years of prior experience communicating with State, Accounting, and Auditing teams related to film and television tax credits
Film and television producer, auditor, accountant, and executive relationships and shorthand
Accounting Degree and/or minimum 1-year accounting/audit experience
Data entry speed and accuracy

Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced environment
Ability to interact with a variety of people of different backgrounds
Intermediate level of proficiency with online communication tools and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Previous experience using CRM systems

Job Type:
Full-time
Rate: $65,000 per year to start
