Intern responsibilities for BondIt will include assisting company executives in business development (research, meeting preparation and attendance, calls, cold inquiries, attending events), supporting marketing initiatives, maintaining internal databases and systems, and supporting general office administration. Duties associated with Buffalo 8 will include assisting company partners with reading and covering submitted scripts, reviewing client candidates' reels and pitches, managing client materials, tracking projects, and compiling data bases.
Interns will have the opportunity to interact with the other divisions of Buffalo 8 including finance, production, post-production, distribution, and development, and have access to various exclusive entertainment and/or networking events throughout Los Angeles.
The position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in film and media finance, related production services, and perspective in producing film and television content. The position is flexible with respect to scheduling (part-time or full-time) and is an unpaid opportunity. Candidates should have superior oral and written communication skills, be eager to learn about the entertainment industry, be interested in financial services, and have a strong work ethic.
Applicants should submit a resumé with a brief cover letter describing their interest and any relevant skills/experience. Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, or recent graduates (preferably within two years), are all eligible to apply.
