Hollywood-based creative agency, B O N D seeks an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our photography department. The role supports the creative team in the following ways -- responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with miscellaneous studio needs (picking up props, setting up/break down of sets)
• SKU-tracking of items photographed, invoicing, budget tracking, receipt tracking, expense reports, maintaining schedules and email communications with colleagues + clients, and providing support and information regarding internal/external requests to the Photographer.
• Photo editing (Unit + Special Shoot + Stock Photography Assets)
• Stock photography research
• Photographer, Model and Talent relations
• Production support for in-house photo shoots
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
• Bachelor's degree in art/photo related field
• 2+ years as an assistant in a studio environment
• Proficiency in studio lighting (profoto)
• Ability to take direction and also take initiative
• Confidence in a studio environment
• Knowledge of Canon equipment
• Working knowledge of CaptureOne software and Photoshop (processing and editing)
• Knowledge of and excitement about photographers in the worlds of entertainment, fashion, and fine art
• Must have valid drivers license and current insurance
Strong communication skills are a must. A track record of resourcefulness is a plus. This is a hands-on position, including administrative support. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and growing in a creative environment and has the ambition to evolve with the team.
