Seeking a ''righthand'' to the President and lead agent of busy NYC talent agency.

The right candidate has a passion for and extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry. They stay current on the latest productions and spend their free time binge-watching TV shows, commercials, movies, and theater. They're familiar with the hottest celebrities and working actors and read Variety, Deadline, Hollywood Reporter, and Playbill. They are skilled with social media and know the latest trends and techniques for Instagram and TikTok, plus photo and video editing. They are passionate about diversifying and modernizing the entertainment industry and are now searching for the right opportunity to jumpstart their career.

Responsibilities

· Heavy email and phones, data entry, paperwork and admin

· Calendar management, scheduling and attending meetings

· Assist with all aspects of talent representation including, but not limited to, scouting, strategy, branding/marketing, submissions, auditions, bookings and billing

· Serve as liaison between agents, talent, and casting clients

· Manage agency website, social media marketing and agency promotions

· Oversee internship program including hiring, training, and managing interns

· Assist with event planning

· Opportunities to attend shows, events, panels and seminars

· Location: NYC office + remote

· Hours: Normal business hours + extended industry hours + on-call weekends as needed

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree + previous internship or employment at a talent agency or casting office

· EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS

· Detail-oriented, accurate, highly organized, and able to multitask

· Pursuing a long-term career in talent representation

· Enjoys taking the initiative and working in a fast-paced environment

· Works well both independently and as part of a team

· Industry savvy: Casting Networks, Breakdown Express, SAG/AFTRA, AEA

· Tech savvy: G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, WeTransfer, Zoom, Slack, Canva, iMovie, Instagram, TikTok, Squarespace

· Genuine ambassador for DEI and authentic representation

· Outgoing and enjoys socializing and attending events

· Must reside in the greater NYC area (position works both in-office and remotely)

· Can provide own laptop and cellphone

Salary
$30k - $45k (stipend + commission)
