Bold is a digital news network; we're looking to hire interns to assist in building & producing our lifestyle show, Bold Life. We cover culture, entertainment, social issues and women's issues. Interns will book guests, build segments, write scripts & interview questions, and more.
Primary responsibilities:
-Booking -- Research and contact potential guests
-Manage show schedule, coordinate guest appearances, help build the show each week
-May include pitching segment and guest ideas
-Assist with editorial content management
-Package/promote/write about Bold episodes before and after each episode
-Edit and package articles on our site
-Assist in studio with our live show production
-May include attending events as a Bold representative
This is an externally-facing position; including calling and emailing potential guests to pitch Bold TV, greeting guests, etc.
Qualifications: Writing skills, and some AP Style training preferred.
This is an unpaid internship position with possibility to hire. We offer College/University credit.
Full-time availability preferred. When you apply, please let us know why you're interested in this position and if you would be available full-time or part-time for the winter/spring.
