We are seeking a Sr. Director, Human Resources for our Nashville location. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, this position is responsible for providing leadership and day to day execution in the areas of diversity and inclusion, talent management, team member relations, learning and development, compensation, HRIS, policy development and oversight. Partners with the management team by serving as a thinking partner and aligns HR priorities and resources with business strategy and needs. The following are examples of the essential functions for this role:
• Supports the Company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives; recommends resources and programs to strengthen and support diversity and inclusion efforts; identifies and evaluates resources to attract a diverse slate of candidates; and identifies opportunities for and participates in community outreach.
• Identifies team member learning and developmental needs, recommends programs to enhance team member knowledge and effectiveness and prepare team members for increased responsibilities.
• Actively participates in recruiting and talent selection.
• Manages compensation administration, including the assignment of pay grades. Directs and performs job and compensation analysis. Oversees periodic compensation studies.
• Oversees the HRIS system.
• Conducts team member surveys and roundtable discussions to nurture team member engagement.
• Ensures compliance with government regulations and guidelines.
• Creates, updates, maintains and distributes HR policies and the Team Member Handbook.
• Upholds BMI’s core values; supports and cultivates a culture of diversity and inclusion.
• Oversees the Company’s social responsibility initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Has direct and indirect responsibility for supervising departmental team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training team members; planning, assigning, directing and ensuring reliability of work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Position Qualification Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Qualified candidates should have a minimum 10 years’ related experience; seven years’ experience in Human Resources management.
