* Operate multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel by performing the following duties.
* Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
* Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
* Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions and other information.
* Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
* Monitor visitor access and issue visitor passes.
* Update appointment calendars.
* Open, sort and route mail.
* Maintain and route publications.
* Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports and other documents when necessary.
* Perform clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating.
* Prior experience working as a front desk receptionist. High school diploma or GED
* Pleasant personality and professional appearance
* PC knowledge
* Must be willing and able to learn information regarding the company, its history or other information that the general public may request
* Proven record of good attendance and punctuality
