DIGITAL LICENSING INTERN
BMI is seeking energetic, dedicated and creative current college or university students to join our team as paid Interns this summer.

The intern will be involved in the preparation of Digital Licensing data to be compliant with migration into Salesforce by the end of 2018.
POTENTIAL ASSIGNMENTS:
• Review list of current prospects (currently over 4K) and validate license requirements;
• Review "revisit" and "further research" prospects to determine the status and, if appropriate, create music use memos and escalate to sales staff.
• Research and prepare brief cheat sheets to help managers prepare of licensing call and other negotiations including legal escalations.
• Assist in customer contact for monthly report requests ans research returned emails for new or updated contact information.
• Salesforce: Ad Hoc duties related to migrated data as well as system testing if applicable.
• Nashville end summer recap presentation for HR as well as Digital Team.
• Review all cold outreach non-responders flagged for further research via respective Salesforce report.
• Help identify accounts based on reporting, and including those that are current and have always reported on time as part of a new customer service initiative.
• Assist with research related to minimum fee accounts that do not report to determine if additional fees may be owed or if reports can be waived.
• Update Licenses in Effect fields for all digital licensing accounts in Salesforce, so LIE reporting can be implemented.
• Other research and tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Detail oriented and self-motivated
Proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong skills research, documentation, and presentation
Proficient in Social Media and Internet Research
Must participate in accredited college or university internship program
