POSITION SUMMARY
Secures assigned licenses to support Licensing’s Sales team goals. Delivers revenue production through outbound calling efforts while validating file information on qualified leads and partnering with other Inside Sales team members as needed.
LOCATION
Nashville, TN office. BMI has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding future transitions will take place in phases as BMI continues to closely monitor COVID-19 as employee safety is our priority
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
• Sells the value of music and the service BMI provides
• Performs traditional inside sales calls as dictated by the sales process
• Provides high levels of customer care as defined by management
• Consistently demonstrates management-directed call quality in all customer interactions
• Validates information (contact information, occupancy, etc.) from a qualified lead
• Updates internal systems with new account information on a regular basis; ensuring all accounts have proper supporting documentation
• Produces and qualifies leads using the tele-qualification process and CRM systems
• Models sales performance, behaviors and best practices
• Supports BMI Core Values and cultivates a culture of diversity and inclusion
Licensing Representative I Expectations:
• Sells the value of music and the service BMI provides in a team-selling environment
• Successfully completes Licensing Onboarding & Inside Sales New Hire Training
• Prospect leads to identify businesses using music to convert to sales opportunities
• Improve existing sales opportunity records with details that enhance the ability to close
Licensing Representative II Expectations:
• Sells the value of music and service BMI provides in a blended environment of team-selling and individual caseload management
• Meets or exceeds monthly revenue and production goals as defined by Sales management
• Manages all assigned opportunities in an individual caseload to ensure adequate and consistent customer contact
• Prospects leads to identify businesses using music to convert leads to sales opportunities
Licensing Representative III Expectations:
• Sells the value of music and service BMI provides in a blended environment of team-selling, individual caseload management, and territory caseload management
• Meets or exceeds monthly revenue and production goals as defined by Sales management
• Manages all assigned opportunities in an individual caseload to ensure adequate and consistent customer contact
• Manages all assigned opportunities in a territory caseload to ensure adequate and consistent customer contact
• Sells late-stage opportunities as determined by Sales management
• Travels as needed to sell to businesses needing a license
• Prospects leads to identify businesses using music to convert leads to sales opportunities
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in a sales environment preferred. Use of computer systems, such as data base management, is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Demonstrated strong (oral and written) communications skills
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to business changes
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficient with Salesforce, Five9, Microsoft Office 365, and Oracle
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of licensing products and licensing process
SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
