This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship
BMI is seeking energetic, dedicated and creative current college or university students to join our team as paid Interns this summer.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Intern will support department initiatives for employee engagement, training and recruitment. This role will also complete a research project to influence revisions to a vital training program.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
• Supports team member engagement by participating in coordinator work for team member listening sessions
• Assists Sr. HR Coordinator and HR Support Coordinator with routine HR administrative tasks.
• Assesses and analyzes evaluation feedback and process for (large) company-wide training programs.
• Analyzes listening sessions information on various human resources topics.
• Researches training video options and content to support corporate recruitment/interview training program.
• Other duties as assigned.
INTERN QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Acceptable majors may include, but are not limited to:
• Human Resources Management
• Business Management
• Business Administration
• Management Engineering
• The candidate must have completed at least 2 courses related to HR and/or Business Management.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student.
• Must return to school in the Summer or Fall of 2020.
Skills
and Abilities:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good keyboarding skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must possess research skills including presentation of data and findings.
• Must possess attention to detail with the ability to multi-task through numerous assignments.
• Basic research skills and data analysis
• Ability to learn basic HR administration process and related policies.
