Inside Sales Representative
Our Inside Sales team plays a key role in generating royalties for BMI songwriters, composers, and publishers. Be a part of BMI's long history as a leader in music performance rights by selling the value of music.
Successful Sales Representatives use their sales skills and business acumen to build a sense of trust, educate, and convey the benefits of licensing. In an outbound call center setting, Licensing Representatives are on the phone speaking with hundreds of businesses a week selling music licenses. If you are motivated by reaching and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly call goals, this role could be for you!
Compensation for the Licensing Representative includes base pay in addition to lucrative commission for meeting and exceeding sales targets. BMI also provides full Benefit options to Full Time Licensing Representatives, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life Insurance, STD/LTD, 401K and MORE!
Our Sales Team works primarily Monday through Friday to connect with our customers - Nights and Weekend shifts are limited. Additionally, full-time employees enjoy a generous Holiday schedule with close to double the standard holidays annually.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
• Three years in a sales or call center environment preferred
• Phone handling skills within a phone system environment (call center or dialer)
• Proficient with technology (Internet, Microsoft Office, Windows, CRM/Salesforce.com)

& Experience
• Experience with high-volume phone sales or inside/B2B sales experience
• Experience in a transactional sales role/environment
• Experience selling an intangible product
• Time management skills
• Superb verbal and written communications skills
• Strong work ethic demonstrated by high motivation for success, tenacity and dependability
