About us:
BMG is an international group of music companies focused on the management of music rights. BMG covers the entire range of rights administration, development, and exploitation, placing the needs of songwriters and artists at the core of its business model. Since its founding in 2008, BMG has established a presence in eight core music markets and represents the rights of more than 300,000 songs and recordings including Crosstown Songs, Cherry Lane Music Publishing, Stage Three Music, Evergreen Copyrights and Chrysalis group as well as signed a number of prominent artists and songwriters.
Our services to Artists & Writers span many areas and include:
Creative Marketing / A&R (placing songs in film, television, corporate advertisements, video games, digital distribution; marketing songs to artists, producers and label execs),
Songwriter Development (talent development; arranging for co-writes and other promotional activities),
Copyright Administration (registration of songs worldwide, tracking and collection of royalties, payments of songwriters and the audit of licensees),
Licensing (negotiating licensing fees and terms, executing paperwork and helping to obtain other required clearances) and
Advances / Acquisitions (providing advances to songwriters, signing songwriters to exclusive agreements and acquiring songwriters' back catalogs when advantageous for future marketing).
Members of the Creative Department discover and sign new talent, build relationships with writers and artists, help to maintain a relevant presence in the broader entertainment industry, and drive the creative direction of BMG Chrysalis.
