bluPRint PR is currently seeking candidates to join our Los Angeles division for an internship program this summer. Our internship program is a 3-month long position with the opportunity for extension. The ideal candidate enjoys a challenging, fast-paced environment, and views public relations as a potential career. We want someone who is creative and willing to dive in, work hard to get ahead.

Responsibilities to include but not be limited to ...

-- Media Management --

• Providing social media/competitive intel report and creative ideas/pitch concepts

• Monitoring trend/industry news for client coverage and placements for account team review

• Researching and builds influencer or media lists

• Writing and editing as needed

• Overseeing account press and clippings

• Product tracking and mailings

• Researching Press hits and placements for clients

• Updating

• Social media management

• Assisting with coordination of mailings, distribution, and follow-up

• Facilitating the sending and tracking of client samples/loans

• Assisting in the creation of decks and presentations

• Actively problem solves against account and team needs

• Assists with research projects

• Tracks media hits and updates activity reports

• Executes various client program components

• Drafts press material, event/launch strategy docs, and other client communication

• Assisting with blogger research and blogger seeding

• Support stylist and editor appointments in showroom

• Assisting with celebrity research and celebrity seeding

• Support maintaining the showrooms

• Event sponsor research and outreach

• Support events team with check-in during events

• Assisting in the coordination of all special events and press appointments

Skills & Abilities Required: Knowledge of AP Style and Cision preferred. Must have strong editing, listening and verbal communications skills. Resourceful and solutions focused. Capable of multitasking, prioritizing and organizing. Excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work well in a collaborative environment as well as individually. Effectively manages time, follows up and is results driven. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
