Time/Days Required: 10:00am PT-6:00pm PT (2:00pm-3:00pm Lunch)
Workplace Requirements: We are looking for energetic, creative, proactive, and detail-oriented interns (ideally from LA, ATL, Miami, NY) to join us for our 3 month SUMMER internship program. We can consider individuals outside of those citites.

Requirements:
• Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or Media-related major
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Must have a great work ethic and be resourceful
• Ability to handle working under tight deadlines with excellent accuracy
• Dedication to the position and pride in your work is necessary
• Up-to-date on PR and Social Media trends
• Experience with Photoshop and Microsoft Office and Mac proficient is a plus
This is an unpaid internship with compensation. You must be able to receive school credit. You must have a car and laptop. Commitment of 2-3 days per week (10am-6pm) with some possible weekend dedications for events. Strong computer skills are required.

Internship Description:
• Answering and screening phone calls
• Answering and screening emails
• Researching new key contacts for all clients
• Researching journalist contacts
• Compiling press reports
• Brainstorming new social media strategies for clients
• Tracking and scanning all media clips
• Reaching out to relevant outlets and news sources
• Assist in writing press releases and media alerts
• Assistance organizing employees' clients schedules
• Assistance with updating our media database and special interest database
• Begin to build long-term relationships with all media
Proficient in: Canva, Slack, Muck Rack, Gmail, and other Social Media Editing Softwares. Also helps if you have a proficiency with Photoshop or In Design.
