Enthusiastic -- Fashion Intern wanted for boutique PR / Branding / Events agency in Beverly Hills!
The ideal candidate would be able to commit to a part time schedule for an entire spring semester, Ideally 2 or 3 days. He/She will work along side PR executive/s to support fashion brand accounts in the areas of media relations, product placement and celebrity relations.
Key rolls and responsibilities and engagement would include the following but not be limited to:
Stylists Pulls and Meetings
Creative/ PR/ VIP Product mailings
Research Projects
Creating Fashion Trends or Beauty Blasts
Scanning and managing clippings for client distribution
Contact research /updating and list management
Product Tracking
Follow-up on send outs or samples
Monthly Reporting
Social Media Support
This communications-based intern PR position requires candidates who can write, speak, and interact effectively, react quickly, juggle a wide range of tasks and activities daily as well as exude confidence and savvy in high-profile, often confidential and at times, stressful scenarios.
A self starter who can continue through projects and maintain their work load combined with classes --- critical and analytical thinking, problem solving skills along with the ability to transition smoothly and quickly between clients and projects is a must.
Also, ideal characteristics would include
Positivity
Creativity
An outgoing personality
Independence and resourcefulness
Expediency
Honesty as well as thick skin.
Additional core competencies and activities would include, but are not limited to:
Conducting quick and efficient research
Writing and/or editing skills
Phone skills
Organizational skills
Great working knowledge of some of the following,
Excel/Google Docs, PowerPoint, Keynote, adobe, GPS database, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Related experience is beneficial but not required. For the qualified candidate who can commit to 15 hours a week (ideally minimum) for a minimum of one semester.
