Executive Assistant, Film Development
Job description
Blumhouse is looking for a Development Assistant for the Film department. This role will be responsible for supporting 3 executives that will include providing general administrative support, including but not limited to managing the executive's calendar, rolling calls, taking meeting notes, maintaining submission logs, compiling talent list, and helping the overall team. To do this role properly you should have experience in the entertainment field, be extremely fast at solving problems, have a professional demeanor, and be able to multi-task. This will be a great opportunity for hands on experience and adding your voice to a growing slate of projects.
Responsibilities:
-Provide general administrative support that include, managing an executive's daily schedule, setting up meetings, responding to timely request, preparing for executive meetings.
-Reviewing and filtering all incoming and outgoing Film material
-Drafting and approving written communications, reports, spreadsheets, maintaining submission logs, compiling notes and talent list
-Acting as a liaison and first point of contact with internal and external customers, vendors, and team members, interacting with them in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year of experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience at an agency, management company, studio, or production company
-Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, proactive, responsible, resourceful, team player and possess strong communication skills
-Must love horror movies
-Must be proficient with Outlook and Google Drive
-A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
-Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities and deadlines.
