Blue Revolver creates destinations and experiences for some of the world's most amazing brands and individuals. The Accounting Coordinator will report directly to the Blue Revolver Management Team and work in conjunction with Blue Revolver's Business Management Firm. This position operates as the main point of contact between the different areas of Blue Revolver's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and external vendors. The Accounting Coordinator will also assist in project bookkeeping and preparing financial reports.
Note: This is a remote hourly position with a 6-month contract. Opportunities to extend will be reviewed at the conclusion of the contract.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience with general accounting
- Entertainment and/or agency experience required
- Experience with event production accounting greatly preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
- Production Accounting, including processing weekly and ad hoc Accounts Payable (ie. on-board vendors, manage approval process, etc.) and managing Accounts Receivable (ie. issue invoices, track collections, resolve discrepancies, etc.)
- Support production finance workflow for projects, including but not limited to expense tracking, petty cash management, sales tax calculations, etc.
- Review and reconcile final event budgets with producers
- Manage the flow of fiscal information between the Blue Revolver Management Team, Production Team and Business Management Firm
- Communicate effectively as a representative of Blue Revolver to clients for Accounts Receivable matters and vendors for Accounts Payable matters
- Manage on-boarding of contract staff into financial systems and provide training on financial systems, policies and procedures
- Prepare annual and ad hoc financial reports
- Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
