Junior Buyer

Blue Microphones, an award winning, internationally recognized, premium brand in the audio and consumer electronics industry, is seeking a Junior Buyer for a direct hire full time position. Responsibilities:

Prepares purchase orders.
Negotiate with vendors regarding price, availability and delivery of product.
Maintain vendor relationship regarding order status, and discrepancies with quantity and quality of product.
Maintain our inventory tracking system.
Performs other work related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

2+ years experience with procuring of electronic components, metal fabricated parts, plastics and plating.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Hands-on experience with an ERP system.
Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner.
Able to multi-task, organize and handle projects with tight deadlines.
Handle confidential and sensitive material with discretion.


Prior experience or familiarity with the audio/music industry is a plus, though not required. All candidates must be professional, responsible, dependable, self-motivated, detail oriented, and be comfortable as a vital team member in a small, rapidly growing company. Punctuality, accuracy and reliability are musts.
