Blue Bear Brands is looking to hire five Interns who want to help us continue to be one of the world's top Celebrity Branding Agencies. The individuals will be dynamic professionals with an artistic eye for trends and who strive to break out of the traditional mold of licensing and seek partnerships that create conversations. The ideal candidates hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team. They will possess strong knowledge and understanding of the celebrity branding landscape, including various social media websites, brand extension programs, culturally significant people, places and product brands. Blue Bear strives to bring the best strategies to the table when catering to our Celebrity and Top tier brand clients.
Blue Bear is currently growing our network. The Licensing Interns will collaborate with the Licensing Manager to develop an end-to-end strategy and execution for merchandising and promotion of Blue Bear Brands. They will also work closely with other members of the team, with the overall goal of ensuring that Blue Bear consumer products are an extension of title brand campaigns and delivering on our promise to deliver the best to our audience.
Blue Bear Brands is prepared to offer recommendation letters from each of the founding members as leaders in their industries.
We offer 10 different six (6) month internships each year designed for those who have no previous experience either in licensing, marketing, talent management or related fields. These internships give the successful candidates the opportunity to experience life in an agency and a chance to develop skills and relationships within that arena. In addition, interns benefit from the potential for full-time involvement with the talent management firms and PR agencies with which they will have collaborated.
This is a remote role, Interns can work from any location.
Responsibilities
Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
Contacting Agents, Publicists, and Managers
Website and social media optimization
Keyword analysis
Researching current brands and potential for celebrities
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (1-3 years) from University
Ideal candidates must own a computer and smartphone
Ideal candidate will be asked to create a Zoom, Google Docs and Airtable account, and will be asked to engage online tutorials to teach themselves features of those applications
We use Slack as a primary communications tool, and a candidate must also feel comfortable with other messaging apps.
Ideal candidates will be willing to use Apple software applications such as .pages, .key and .numbers without complaint, and learn the features of those applications
Experience on the Web and a solid understanding of youth markets
