DESCRIPTION:
BLT Communications, LLC, a leading entertainment creative advertising agency, is looking to add a fresh voice to its social and creative strategy team. This role reports to the Senior Director, Social Media.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support on select projects for top-tier entertainment clients
• Work with strategists and creative teams to brainstorm and ideate social content based on overall campaign strategies and marketing direction - from daily posts to larger campaign initiatives and activations
• Schedule, publish, and QA content on social platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
• Write socially-savvy, on-brand, and authentic copy with an understanding of the voice of the community
• Work with the team to maintain editorial calendars for select projects
• Moderate pages and manage fan engagement on social channels
• Monitor and stay up to date on current events, pop culture, and trending topics, making recommendations when appropriate
• Assist with reporting and analytics as needed
• Analyze and share campaign insights based on fan feedback and online trends to help optimize current initiatives as well as spark new ideas for content moving forward
• Work with social creative producers to create rollout plans/production schedules
• Participate in weekly status calls as needed with the client to review content, insights, and upcoming programming
• Must be available to work from home during live events and premieres, including some nights and weekends
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 1-2 years of community management experience
• A passion and genuine interest in entertainment and cultivating engaged online communities
• Clear understanding of all social media platforms - how to use them best, how to use them uniquely, how to optimize content for each platform, etc.
• Strong knowledge of the nuances of social media copywriting when it comes to fan engagement, captions, and overall tone - strong, creative, clever copywriting is a must
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and fluctuating deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and interest in the larger media landscape and global trends - we want you to tell us what's new and cool in pop culture and what's trending
• Highly collaborative - you love working with others and are a team player
• Able to build strong relationships and work across cross-functional teams
• Insightful and flexible - the ability to use data and intuition to see what is and isn't working, and adapt a campaign if necessary
• Embraces feedback and constructive criticism
